Awards of $1,000 to USA state, district, council, regional, and local PTAs to honor and recognize excellence in efforts to eliminate discriminatory practices and to promote inclusion and diversity. The award is intended for PTAs that have undertaken diversity and inclusion efforts within the past year.
PTAs who have made intentional efforts toward diversity and inclusion should apply. Some examples:

There will be three awards in total (one award made to a state PTA, one to a district/council/region PTA, and one to a local PTA).
Winners Will Receive:
- $1,000 cash award
- One Plaque/Trophy
- Honored at the 2021 National PTA Convention & Expo
- Two tickets to the Diversity & Inclusion Celebration at 2021 National PTA Convention & Expo
- Potential opportunity to be a speaker at the Diversity & Inclusion Celebration at the 2021 National PTA Convention & Expo
- Certificates for PTA members named in the application
The diversity and inclusion efforts described in the application must have taken place within the last calendar year.
