Grants of up to $50,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for initiatives to improve health and healthcare services. Priority will be given to initiatives in the areas of health education, disease prevention, early detection of disease, health services for children and the economically disadvantaged, and projects that target medical care. Programs and projects must address the needs of residents of Miami-Dade County.

Programs and projects are funded, depending upon the project budget, in the $5,000 to $50,000 range with an occasional exception for a program that the Board of Directors finds particularly meritorious.
Projects that require multi-year funding are not supported.
