Grants to Florida nonprofit organizations that benefit local residents. The Foundation seeks to partner with healthcare, education, and religious organizations that address local community needs. Preference will be given to organizations showing fiscal responsibility, efficient management and a history of delivering effective and measurable results. Eligible organizations will serve the Tampa Bay area.

Preference is given to requests of less than $20,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for funding consideration, an applicant must be:

A nonprofit organization with tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, and not classified as a private foundation. Such an organization must be primarily serving Tuolumne County residents; or A public-sector entity or unit of government primarily serving Tuolumne County residents; and Nondiscriminatory in the hiring of staff or provision of services on the basis of race, national origin, gender, marital status, age, religious beliefs or disability.

Preference is given to organizations with an operating budget of less than $3,000,000.00.

Qualified education, healthcare, and religious organizations in the Tampa Bay area are eligible to apply.

Grants are generally not approved for deficit or debt reduction.

How to apply:

1. Complete and submit the online Grant Request Preliminary Application Form.

2. The Preliminary Application will be reviewed and, if approved for further consideration, the organization will be contacted by email to submit the Grant Proposal.

The 2020 Grant Submission cycle is now open and will close on July 1, 2020. The Trustees will review qualified Grant Requests and decisions will be made by the end of 2020 for distribution in early 2021.

The Foundation reviews Grant Requests bi-annually, but will review requests outside of this schedule to meet qualified, deserving emergency needs.
