Grants to Florida nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for festivals and events that strengthen communities and promote place-making. Funding is intended for new and expanded events that use public spaces, have a positive impact on the lives of residents, leverage private-sector support, and align with the Fund's economic development objectives of achieving greater patron spending and maximizing visitation. Eligible programs benefit Hillsborough County. The grant program has three funding categories based on event budget.

The maximum award amount available for Applicants to the Special Events Partnership Grant program is $100,000.
Category 1: Total event budget less than $100,000 (2:1 match)
Category 2: Total event budget less than $500,000 (3:1 match)
Category 3: Total event budget at least $500,000 (4:1 match)
The grant period is November 13, 2020 - September 30, 2021.
