Grants of up to $10,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for a range of community needs. Funding is intended to support area nonprofits of any size offering programs or projects in all focus areas, small capital items, specific funding needs, or general operating support unrelated to COVID-19. Applicants must be located in Collier County.

Eligible requests will be qualified for review and possible funding by the Community Foundation of Collier County’s unrestricted and advised funds. Grants made through Advised Funds are made at the discretion of the donor and are not part of the competitive program grant process. 

The Community Foundation of Collier County bases its unrestricted funding decisions on data that identifies a community need or gap in services. The Community Foundation of Collier County’s strategic plan ties its grantmaking to relevant community information from the Vital Signs report (, the most recent Community Needs Assessment ( and other reports such as those available through Future Ready Collier (, the 5 Year Mental Health and Substance Abuse Strategic Plan for Collier County (for nonprofits working in mental health and substance abuse), or the Arts and Culture Strategic Plan for Collier County ( for nonprofits working in arts, culture and recreation).

Eligibility Guidelines:
- Applicant must be a tax-exempt nonprofit organization serving Collier County, FL residents
- Applicant must meet the grant guideline criteria
- Applications must be relevant to Collier County
- Applicants must meet submission deadlines
- Applicants must agree to the Community Foundation’s Statement of Diversity.
- Applicants must agree to report back to the Community Foundation on relevant outcomes of funding.

These requests may be funded partially or in whole at any time throughout the year. Grant selection and release of funding could take place throughout the year (August 2020 – June 2021).
