Grant Description
Grants of up to $25,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations in eligible counties to improve neighborhoods. Funding is intended to strengthen local leadership, address housing costs, and expand opportunities for underrepresented members of the community. Applicants must be located in and serve Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns counties.


Additional Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofit organizations with a current 501(3)(c), and a 2-year work history
- Annual operating budget of $100,000 or above

Grants may be made to faith-based organizations for the non-religious programs offered to the broader community.

The Foundation is not able to fund:
- Athletic associations
- Fundraising event sponsorships
- Programs promoting religious beliefs*
- Schools (public, private and charter) and school-based organizations (PTAs, boosters, etc)

Pre-Application Information
- January 2, 2024: Grant applications open.
- January 3, 2024 – February 14, 2024: Assistance is available from the grantmaking staff.
- February 15, 2024: Applications due by 11:59 PM
- June 1, 2024 – May 31, 2026: Grant-funded projects must occur within this timeframe.
