THE FVCDC PROVIDES YOUTH and BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, PROVIDE AN AFTER SCHOOL INTENSIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM DESIGNED TO DEVELOP SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ATTITUDES NECESSARY FOR SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCES IN ANY EMPLOYMENT SETTING FOR BOYS AND GIRLS 14-19 YEARS OLD. SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED FOR STUDENTS TO CONCENTRATE ON TUTORING AND MENTORING FOR FCAT PREPARATION WHO ARE ENGAGED TO EARN A GRADUATE EQUIVALENCY DIPLOMA IN THE NEAR FUTURE. A NURSERY AND LAWN MAINTENANCE PUBLIC SERVICE IS OFFERED THAT PROVIDES AFFORDABLE LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION SERVICES, JOB SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, AND MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY. THE FVCDC PROVIDES ADULT COMPUTER CLASSES, A PROGRAM THAT PAINTS AND LANDSCAPES THE HOMES OF SENIORS, AND VETERANS AND A SUMMER YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.
