THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION SHALL BE THE ACCUMULATION AND DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE SERVICE AREA OF PEACE RIVER ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. AND ITS SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THIS SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY DISBURSEMENT OF THESE ACCUMULATED CHARITABLE FUNDS OF THE FOUNDATION TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR NEEDS WHICH ARE RELATED TO FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, HEALTH NEEDS, ENVIRONMENTAL AND EDUCATION. UPON DISSOLUTION OF THE FOUNDATION, ANY REMAINING FUNDS SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED ONLY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
