Contract for services to a Florida nonprofit or government organization to manage child and family resource centers in eligible locations. Applicants must participate in a funding workshop and submit a letter of intent prior to a full application. Funding is intended to support community centers that offer programming in the areas of health, child development, social-emotional growth, and education. Eligible applicants must serve the residents of Hillsborough County.
The successful Applicant will serve as the Managing Agency to operate all seven (7) Centers which offer universal access of primary prevention and early intervention services to young children and families throughout Hillsborough County. The primary programming focus is pregnant and parenting families with young children, however the CBFRC may serve all Hillsborough County residents.
Strategic investments in the community include developing local prevention and early intervention services; convening community partners to work on outcomes improving the lives of children and their families; and providing venues for community engagement and advocacy efforts. The Children’s Board is committed to funding opportunities through strategic grant making principles and leveraging strategies; developing innovative services and supports; and catalyzing the research and community perspective to promote wellness, learning, professional training, and enhance service delivery systems.
Focus Areas: All Centers in collaboration with community partners will offer services in all four (4) of the Children’s Board Focus Areas:
Agency infrastructure cost of up to 10% of the total direct expenditures can be budgeted in the administrative/indirect budget line.

The ITN will lead to the selection of one (1) agency to manage all seven (7) Centers.
Contract term: October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2024. If awarded, the contract term may be renewed annually, through September 30, 2024, based on funding availability, Board approval, and annual satisfactory contract evaluation.
