Grants of up to $5,000 and technical assistance to Florida small businesses in eligible locations, including home-based businesses, for business development activities. Funding is intended to support supplies and equipment purchases, renovations, insurance, inventory, security systems, and marketing and advertising. In addition, businesses may receive technical services and support. Businesses must be located in District 5 of Miami-Dade County. The program provides financial assistance to further the economic viability of recipients.
