Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $25,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations benefiting residents of eligible counties for programs that address the issues of child abuse, abandonment, and neglect. A pre-application is required prior to submitting a full application. Capital requests need to be submitted as early as possible. Programs must serve the residents of Dade and Broward Counties.

The Directors share goals of balancing the funding or programs that meet the immediate and critical need for children to be safe and protected while trying to assist in funding programs that seek effective long term creative solutions to the underlying problems.

The Foundation is asking that all pre-applications identify the requests from their first communications, in one of three categories:

  • Emergency Request (respecting that emergencies should be rare)
  • Gift/Grant request (standard applications)
  • Capital Requests (which would need to be submitted as early as possible to allow a deeper investigation)
